In December 2011, China produced 6.32 million tons of refractory products, an increase of 26.01% year on year. According to the data of China business information network, from January to December 2011, the national output of refractory products reached 71.8415 million tons, up 17.02% year on year.

From the perspective of the output of provinces and cities, from January to December 2011, the output of refractory products in Henan Province reached 30.74 million tons, an increase of 21.66% year on year, accounting for 42.80% of the total output of the country. Followed by Liaoning, Shandong and Shanxi, accounting for 32.38%, 6.49% and 2.89% of the total output respectively.
